Actress Kim Sae Ron is expected to speak up about the photo she posted on her social media but took down in 'lightning speed.'
On March 25, Kim Sae Ron told MyDaily over the phone, "I am currently organizing my statement. I will release my statement as soon as it's finalized."
Earlier onMarch 23, Kim Sae Ron posted a selfie with actor Kim Soo Hyun on her social media. In the photo, the two are posing closely with each other, with their cheeks touching. Although Kim Sae Ron quickly deleted the photo, it spread through various online communities, sparking rumors of a romantic relationship between her and Kim Soo Hyun.
On the same day, Kim Soo Hyun's agency, Gold Medalist,stated, "The current dating rumors involving Kim Soo Hyun are groundless. The photos circulating online appear to have been taken when they belonged to the same agency in the past, and the intentions behind Kim Sae Ron's actions are entirely unclear."
They further emphasized, "Due to these photos, there are numerous unnecessary misunderstandings and speculations surrounding the actor. Our agency will strongly respond through legal representatives at a law firm to any malicious defamation and insulting posts that damage the actor's character and reputation."
In the past, Kim Sae Ron was active as an actress under the same agency as Kim Soo Hyun. However, after a drunk driving controversy in May 2022, she terminated her exclusive contract with the agency.
Born in 2000, Kim Sae Ron made her entertainment debut as a magazine model in 2001. She then officially began her acting career with the 2009 movie 'A Brand New Life'. Making her mark with the 2010 movie 'The Man from Nowhere,' Kim Saeron has been active both on the big screen and small screen, showcasing a diverse range of performances.

I feel bad for her.
From what I've read about her, she doesn't appear to be too different from popular American child actors -- spiraling out. Because of this, I'm not sure if she's an "attention seeker" like she's being accused here or if she's screaming for help. From her filmography, she had work going her way until she screwed it up with that DUI in 2022. And that just happened to coincide with the expiration of her agency contract. So, if she cleaned up and demonstrated genuine remorse, I think she'd work again. She's talented.
Now, even though I hope she gets the help she may need, I can't agree with her using another actor to publicly air a grievance, reminisce, show off, or whatever the hell she "intended." It's just wrong and can only hurt her more proven by most of the comments posted here. And her former agency is going to protect their current hot star. I hope she doesn't do more damage to herself.
